The professional international body for meeting and event professionals, "Meeting Professionals International" (MPI), is offering a low student rate for its World Education Congress in Orlando, Florida - July 23rd-26th. Students will meet professional corporate level planners and suppliers from around the world.
Any CreComm students who'd like to join MPI and receive access to educational tools on-line, monthly magazine, resources, etc. can join for $40 CDN ($375 for non-student members). Click here for the membership info.
Once they've joined, student members of MPI can attend the World Education Congress in Orlando for $145 (up to $1020 for regular members).
Winnipeg event planner Wanda Daza (Chief Director, Strategy, Innovation and Design, Strategic Event Initiatives Inc.) says this is an excellent opportunity for any student serious about becoming a professional meeting and event planner. She will be attending the Orlando congress, and is willing to mentor any CreComm student who attends the event.
