Ducks Unlimited Canada, Canada’s most trusted and respected wetland conservation organization, is looking for a strong and savvy communicator, manager and energetic collaborator to join our team. You are an exceptional communicator who is able to combine creativity and organizational skills while you manage a team of professional communicators across Canada. You are self motivated, enjoy a fast-paced environment and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines. You provide leadership and support to our sponsors and partners while building new relationships with targeted stakeholders.

At Ducks, we’re going places. You need to be an enthusiastic team player – a self-starter who can work cross-functionally, is capable of taking calculated risks and enjoys thinking out of the box.

Your eight to 15 years of experience make you the ideal candidate for this position, which is located at our national head office at Oak Hammock Marsh, Manitoba. You possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You have demonstrated expertise in applying communications theory, methods and techniques in support of strategic internal and external communications planning. Your emotional intelligence and ability to see the bigger picture will make you a great asset to our team.

Requirements:
A post-secondary education with a focus on communications.
Experience in staff management.
Ability to foster key relationships, experience in a cross-functional setting, proven success in building teams and demonstrated effectiveness in developing skills in employees.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, the capacity to handle a high volume workload and project management skills are vital in this role.
Familiarity with the non-profit or environmental conservation sectors are definite assets.
